'Aïcha rapporta : J'avais l'habitude de jouer avec des poupées. Parfois le Messager de Dieu (puisse la
paix être sur lui) entrait alors que les autres filles étaient avec moi. Lorsqu'il entrait, elles sortaient, et
lorsqu'il sortait, elles rentraient.
حَدَّثَنَا مُسَدَّدٌ، حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادٌ، عَنْ هِشَامِ بْنِ عُرْوَةَ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ،
قَالَتْ كُنْتُ أَلْعَبُ بِالْبَنَاتِ فَرُبَّمَا دَخَلَ عَلَىَّ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم وَعِنْدِي
الْجَوَارِي فَإِذَا دَخَلَ خَرَجْنَ وَإِذَا خَرَجَ دَخَلْنَ .
‘A’ishah said: I used to play with dolls. Sometimes the Messenger of Allah (May peace be upon him)
entered upon me when the girls were with me. When he came in, they went out, and when he went out, they came
in.
'Aïcha rapporta, Ummul Mu'minin : Le Messager de Dieu (ﷺ) m'épousa lorsque j'avais sept ou six ans.
Lorsqu'il arriva à Médine, des femmes arrivèrent. Selon la version de Bishr : Umm Ruman
vint à moi alors que je me balançais. Ils me prirent, me préparèrent et me décorèrent. Je fus alors ammenée au
Messager de Dieu (ﷺ) et il vécut avec moi lorsque j'avais neuf ans. Elle m'arrêta à la porte, et je fondis en
larmes. Abou Dahoud dit : c'est-à-dire : j'avais mes menstruations, et je fus ammenée dans une maison, et il y
avait là des femmes des Ansari. Elles dirent : Bonne chance et bénédiction. La tradition de l'une d'entre elle
avait été incluse dans l'autre.
Narrated Aisha, Ummul Mu'minin: The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) married me when I was seven or six. When we
came to Medina, some women came. according to Bishr's version: Umm Ruman came to me when I was swinging. They took
me, made me prepared and decorated me. I was then brought to the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ), and he took up
cohabitation with me when I was nine. She halted me at the door, and I burst into laughter. Abu Dawud said: That
is to say: I menstruated, and I was brought in a house, and there were some women of the Ansari in it. They said:
With good luck and blessing. The tradition of one of them has been included in the other.

femmes vinrent me voir alors que je jouais sur la balançoire, et que mes cheveux étaient jusqu'à mes oreilles. Ils
m'emmenèrent, me préparèrent et me décorèrent. Puis, elles m'emmenèrent au Messager de Dieu (ﷺ) et il vécut avec
moi, alors que j'avais neuf ans.

أَلْعَبُ عَلَى أُرْجُوحَةٍ وَأَنَا مُجَمَّمَةٌ فَذَهَبْنَ بِي فَهَيَّأْنَنِي وَصَنَّعْنَنِي ثُمَّ أَتَيْنَ بِي
رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم فَبَنَى بِي وَأَنَا ابْنَةُ تِسْعِ سِنِينَ .
Narrated Aisha, Ummul Mu'minin: When we came to Medina, the women came to me when I was playing on the
swing, and my hair were up to my ears. They brought me, prepared me, and decorated me. Then they brought me to the
Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) and he took up cohabitation with me, when I was nine.
La tradition mentionnée ci-dessus a aussi été transmise par Hisham b. 'Urwah via une chaîne de
narrateurs différente. Cette version ajoute : Je me balançais et j'étais avec mes amies. Elles m'emmenèrent dans
une maison, il y avait des femmes des Ansar (Aideurs). Elles dirent : bonne chance et bénédiction.
The tradition mentioned above has also been transmitted by Hisham b. 'Urwah through different chain of
narrators. This version adds: I was swinging and I had my friends. They brought me to a house; there were some
women of the Ansar (Helpers). They said: With good luck and blessing.

حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ مَسْلَمَةَ، عَنْ مَالِكٍ، عَنْ مُوسَى بْنِ مَيْسَرَةَ، عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ
أَبِي هِنْدٍ، عَنْ أَبِي مُوسَى الأَشْعَرِيِّ، أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم قَالَ " مَنْ لَعِبَ
بِالنَّرْدِ فَقَدْ عَصَى اللَّهَ وَرَسُولَهُ " .
Narrated AbuMusa al-Ash'ari: The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: He who plays backgammon disobeys Allah
and His Apostle.
D'après AbuHurayrah : Suhayl ibn AbuSalih a dit : Je sortais avec mon père en Syrie. Les gens passaient
à côté des cloîtres où étaient les Chrétiens et commençèrent à les saluer. Mon père dit : Ne les salue pas en
premier, car AbuHurayrah a rapporté que le Messager d'Allah (ﷺ) a dit : Ne les saluez pas (les Juifs et les
Chrétiens) en premier, et quand vous les rencontrez sur la route, forcez-les à aller sur sa partie la plus
étroite.
Narrated AbuHurayrah: Suhayl ibn AbuSalih said: I went out with my father to Syria. The people passed
by the cloisters in which there were Christians and began to salute them. My father said: Do not give them
salutation first, for AbuHurayrah reported the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) as saying: Do not salute them (Jews and
Christians) first, and when you meet them on the road, force them to go to the narrowest part of it.
D'après Oumm Atiyyah al-Ansariyyah : Une femme était connue pour effectuer la circoncision à Médine. Le Prophète (ﷺ) lui dit : Ne coupe pas trop court, car c'est mieux pour une femme et
plus désirable pour un mari. Abou Daoud dit : Il a été transmis par 'Oubaid Allah b. 'Amr de 'Abd al-Malik avec le
même effet par une chaîne différente. Abou Daoud a dit : Ce n'est pas une tradition forte. Il a été transmis sous
forme de message (sans le lien des Compagnons) Abou Daoud a dit : Mohammed b. Hasan est obscur, et cette tradition
est faible.
Narrated Umm Atiyyah al-Ansariyyah: A woman used to perform circumcision in Medina. The Prophet (ﷺ)
said to her: Do not cut severely as that is better for a woman and more desirable for a husband. Abu Dawud said:
It has been transmitted by 'Ubaid Allah b. 'Amr from 'Abd al-Malik to the same effect through a different chain.
Abu Dawud said: It is not a strong tradition. It has been transmitted in mursal form (missing the link of the
Companions) Abu Dawud said: Muhammad b. Hasan is obscure, and this tradition is weak.
