Cameron nait le mardi 24 février 1970 à Edmonton (Canada).
À la fin de la guerre du Vietnam en mai 1975, Cameron observe à plusieurs reprises à Carman (Manitoba) un phénomène que l'on désignera sous le nom de "Charlie Red Star". C'est le début de son intérêt pour l'ufologie. Dans les 18 mois qui suivent, il fait de nombreuses autres observations de grands et petits phénomènes dans la région. Il passe des jours et des jours à photographier une série de phénomènes étranges et à interroger des centaines d'autres témoins de phénomènes semblables, qu'il compilera dans un manuscript s1Cameron, G.: Tales of Charlie-Red-Star, CD-Rom, 1976..
Cameron entreprend ensuite d'étudier le travail de Wilbert B. Smith. Au fil d'une vingtaine d'années, il retrouve la plupart des archives de Smith, interroge la plupart des gens avec qui il a travaillé sur l'étude des soucoupes et finit par produire un CD-Rom contenant la plupart de ces documents, ainsi que 12 heures d'audio sur le sujet.
Au cours de ces recherches, Cameron découvre l'existence du Dr. Eric Walker (ancien président de l'Université de
l'état de Penn) qui fut identifié par le Robert I. Sarbacher
comme un des personnages-clés
d'une dissimulation sur les ovnis. Cameron mène s'associe alors avec T. Scott Crain pour mener une enquête qui durera

Par la suite Cameron s'intéresse au sujet des implications et actions des Présidents des USA par rapport à la question des ovnis. Il fait plus de 25 voyages aux Archives Nationales de Washington (D.C.) ainsi qu'aux diverses archives présidentielles du pays à la recherche d'élément liant présidence et ovnis. Cela lui donnera l'occasion d'interroger le vice-président Dick Cheney sur sa connaissance du sujet, ou de faire une demande de déclassification au bureau des Sciences et Technologies de la Maison Blanche pour publier 1000 pages de documents sur les ovnis de l'administration Clinton.
Par la suite Cameron travaille sur la production de monographies sur le Dr. Walker, Wilbert Smith, the Presidential involvement in the topic of psychic phenomena, and a monograph looking at a possible disclosure pattern to try and explain the many actions of the American government, related to UFOs, during the last 50 years. He is working on a detailed paper detailing the "64 Reasons the Government is Covering Up the ET Presence." He is also now researching an lecturing on the connection of consciousness to the UFO phenomena hoping that it will help explain how UFOs are propelled, and what is the real nature of the Universe.
He has produced a CD-Rom which includes "Tales of Charlie-Red-Star" a manuscript that was prepared in the late 70s about a flap of UFO sightings that occurred in Manitoba Canada in 1975-76. This is a flap of sightings that was immense in size, but generally unknown outside of Canada. A second item on the CD is "UFOs, MJ-12, and The Government," a book published in 1990 by MUFON. The disc contains the paper "Presidential UFO Audio Story" which is an article that contains 60+ embedded UFO audio clips of the presidents, their aides, or people talking about the presidents and UFOs.
Cameron completed a collection of hundreds of cartoons about UFOs which was set up to help to tell the 60+ years of this strange phenomena. A PowerPoint collection of these cartoons was shown at the 2003 Ozark convention.
He has lectured widely in Canada, Europe, and the United States on the 1975 Carman flap, the Canadian government's early investigations into flying saucers, UFO disclosure politics, the Rockefeller UFO Initiative, the Presidential UFO connection, the consciousness link to UFOs, and recent reesearch that indicates that the force behind the UFO phenomena is carrying out a plan of disclosure as to what UFOs are and why they are here..
Cameron was instrumental in recovering all the UFO files inside the Clinton files at the Clinton Library in Little Rock Arkansas. Over 10,000 pages were processed in the requests. They show that the Clinton administration was very interested in the pheneomena and actually tried to force out some of the hidden information to the public.
He was awarded the International Researcher of the Year at the 2012 Leeds UFO conference, and the Researcher of the Year at the 2013 International UFO Congress in Phoenix Arizona.
